Hiroshi will make a special appearance in the movie "大奥", which opens in theaters on Friday, October 1, 2010! He'll play the role of the incredibly handsome Matsushima, a member of the Ochuro class who was granted audiences with the shogun in the inner palace. We're really looking forward to this live-action film with its unprecedentedly fabulous cast!

Hiroshi will be airing his first-ever regular radio show!! The new show with Hiroshi as DJ will start on Friday, April 23 at 10:00 p.m. on bay-fm 78. The title of the show is "Naked"! Look forward to Hiroshi in the nude every Friday at 10:00 p.m.!
We will be accepting messages from you to be aired on the show, your reactions to the themes presented on it and your song requests (Western rock, pop, J-pop and of course Hiroshi's songs, too). We're eagerly waiting for your emails!!

Following the television broadcast in 2006 as a weekly drama and as a continuing special for 2 nights in 2008, a deal for production of the long awaited movie version has been finalized!! And what's more, this movie has the illustrious destiny of being the first 2 movie series in the history of Japanese theater.
Shooting will cover an ambitious span through France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Australia. This is the world's first movie production to shoot in the music hall that is famous as one of the three finest halls in the world --- a hall that serves as both the Wiener Philharmoniker headquarters and as the meeting place for the ultimate dream of every musician, the Musikverein ("music club").
In addition to the intense impact and depth in orchestra scenes which could not be fully achieved in the television series, guest stars Shosuke Tanihara and Takeshi Nadagi join the original television drama cast for an even more powerful look into "the world of Nodame."
